I was pleasantly surprised to find a new 5-star hotel in Nouakchott. The reception was warm, and the lobby felt spacious and inviting. My room was comfortable with good air conditioning and plenty of TV channels. Room service was excellent and the cleanliness was up to European standards. The only downside was the language barrier, as the staff didn’t speak English.
